Tower Blitz operates on a wave-based combat system where enemy spawns increase in frequency and difficulty with each cleared wave. The game engine calculates tower damage output, attack speed, and range in real-time, requiring players to position defensive units along predetermined paths where enemies advance toward your base.
The strategic layer involves managing limited tower slots across the battlefield grid. Each tower type features distinct attack patterns: single-target high damage, area-of-effect splash damage, or status-inflicting slow effects. Resource accumulation from defeated enemies funds tower upgrades and new placements mid-wave, creating dynamic decision points between expanding your defense or strengthening existing positions.
Competitive leaderboards rank players based on waves survived, total enemies eliminated, and resource efficiency scores. The progression system unlocks advanced tower variants at specific wave milestones, introducing piercing projectiles, chain lightning effects, and critical hit multipliers that fundamentally alter tactical approaches to later-game enemy compositions.

Earn currency by eliminating enemies, with bonus multipliers for kill streaks and perfect waves cleared without base damage. Spend accumulated resources to construct new towers mid-combat or upgrade existing units through three progressive tiers of enhanced damage and attack speed.
Each tower evolves through three upgrade levels, transforming visual appearance and combat capabilities. Tier 3 towers unlock special abilities like splash damage conversion, armor penetration, or attack speed bursts that activate automatically when enemy density thresholds are met.
